Al, my heart aches for the pain you endured the past few years. I miss you so much and thought of you all day today. I reminisced the great times we had during your young years..., the trips we made to New York, St. Thomas, Dog Patch, Arkansas. The Zoo and Pink Palace were fun outings too. The move to Georgia and the new house we had there and all the days I watched you as you headed across and down the hill to catch the school bus is so vivid too. The songs you sang in your deep voice, the genius ideas you had electronically and mechanically, the model airplanes and cars you built to perfection and decorated your bedroom with, the pride you took in dressing in nice cloths, your sweet gentle ways and your love of pets and conversations are fresh in my mind. From birth to passing you were always my awesome and very handsome child/man. I'll rejoice in seeing you again in heavenly love but until we rejoice again together you will forever be in my heart and mind.
Love, Mama
I am so very sorry for the loss of Robert, recently in death. May Arnold family find comfort through prayer and God’s word. Isaiah 25:8
My cousin Al from Memphis left this earth early Sunday morning. He was a big hearted man with a wonderful and kind soul. His laugh was contagious. He fought a long and hard battle against cancer. He loved his son Tommy fiercely. His mom, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends will miss him dearly. Please pray for my Memphis family for peace and strength for the coming days. I will be headed to Memphis soon to be with my beloved family to share memories and hugs. May his soul through the mercy of God rest in peace.

My cousin Al passed away early this morning and is now at peace after a long battle with cancer. Al was like a big brother to me and I loved him dearly. Although he was 13 years older than me, Al treated me as a little sister sometimes teasing me but always looking out for me. He was six foot six and was like a giant to me even when I grew into an adult. He had a distinguished deep voice that you never mistook for anyone else’s but Al’s. As a little girl, I lived in the same house with Al and remember him always tinkering on cars and listening to fabulous rock-n-roll music. I called him “Owl” and thought that was hilarious! We shared the same birth month of March and we celebrated many birthdays together. Al was a wonderful cousin to me and I will miss him always. He loved his family with great passion and he was a great friend to everyone who knew him. Please keep his mother my Aunt Brenda Ledbetter and his family in your prayers for peace and comfort.
