Robbie Jean Upton's Obituary
Robbie Jean Upton, 79, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis. Mrs. Upton was a collector of Fenton glass and dolls and loved to refinish old furniture. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul Eugene Upton of Memphis, two sons, Tony (Adele) Upton of Southaven, and Mark Upton of Memphis, one daughter, Sandra Brooks of Clarksdale, MS, one sister, Geraldine Whitman of Jackson, 6 grandchildren, Michelle Gabbucci, Shannon Brooks, Brandon Brooks, Michael Upton, Jeanne Upton, and Shelby Upton, and 3 great grandchildren, Savannah Gabbucci, Aaron Gabbucci, and Emily Brooks. Funeral Services will be Monday, June 1, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home in the Fireside Chapel. A visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
