Ricky W. Jackson's Obituary
Ricky Wayne Jackson – loving husband, son, and brother – passed away on February 29, 2020 at the age of 64. He was preceded in death by his mother Louise Vaughn Jackson.
Ricky leaves behind his wife Jo, the love of his life. They started dating at the age of 17 and have been together ever since. He is also survived by his father Madison Jackson, brother Gerald Jackson (Leigh), and two nephews Jeremy Jackson (Jenny) and John Michael McGee.
Ricky was extremely passionate about gardening. He loved working in the outdoors and his yard showed it! He was also an avid “Do It Yourself-er” who preferred to build and repair everything himself. When it came to sports, no team held a candle to Ricky’s Tennessee Vols.
The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the Physicians and staff of West Clinic.
A private graveside service for the family will be held on March 3, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made in Ricky’s memory to the American Cancer Society or the Memphis Botanic Gardens.
