Richard Tade's Obituary
Richard L. Tade, 63, passed away June 10, 2013 surrounded by his two loving daughters. Richard was born October 5, 1949 in Wichita, KS to C. Lee and Violet Tade, who precede him in death. He was an accomplished musician, being inducted into the Kansas Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011 with the Central Standard Time. He was a successful business man and entrepreneur with a continual vision towards a positive future. Richard had a true zest for life which was evident in his genuine smile and generosity. His love for his family and friends was unmatched. Richard leaves behind his daughters; Tara Taylor Robertson and her husband Sam, and Jenny Tade Hazen and her husband Aaron. There was always a special place in Ricky’s heart for his grandchildren; Grant Slattery, Abbey and Tade Robertson, and Griffin and Della Hazen. Richard leaves one sister Morena Dunn, and three nieces and numerous cousins. A visitation will be held Thursday June 13, from 6:00 until 9:00 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue Memphis TN 38119. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 U.S. Hwy 54 Wichita KS 67209, with visitation from 1:00 until service time at 3:00. Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.
