Alice C Dunlap
Dick Strub’s mother, Helen, was my godmother when they lived here in Union City. She gave me an add-a-pearl necklace which I still have.
Jack and Helen Strub were friends of my parents. Very often at Christmas Helen would make beautiful and very tasty Christmas cookies. My sister and I talked about them every year at this time.
I meant Dick and his wife once when they were visiting here in Union City.
Dick called me many years ago to reconnect our family’s history here. It was so good to hear from him. I am truly saddened the his death and will keep his family in my prayers.
