Richard Allan Miller's Obituary
Richard Allan Miller, 33, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019. He is survived by his loving partner, Kristen McClure, a daughter, Kalen Miller, his mother, Patricia Miller, father, John Edward Miller, and grandmothers, Ruby Romero and Sue McNeil.Mr. Miller graduated in 2012 from Victory University, Summa Cum Laude, with his Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and the first graduate of the Trinity Scholars Honors Program. While he attended Victory University, he received scholarships for Choir from the Department of Performing Arts. He then graduated in 2015 from Union University, Summa Cum Laude, with his Master’s degree in Christian Studies. He loved music and often referred to his occupation as a counselor, tutor, musician, and writer. The job he was most proud of was being a tutor while in graduate school.The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, October 4th from five o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. There will be a Celebration of Life service the following day, Saturday,October 5th at eleven-thirty in the morning, also at the funeral home.The family asks that donations be made in Mr. Miller’s honor to either West Cancer Clinic or to Semmes Murphy Clinic.
