Dr. Richard Cotton Maddock Jr.'s Obituary
Richard Cotton Maddock of Germantown, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 24, in Germantown, Tennessee. He is survived by his wife Taylor Maddock, brothers Charles (Dotti) Maddock and Jerry (Karen) Maddock, sons, Jeff (Michele) Maddock and Max Maddock, step-daughters Jackie (Ted) Mays, Marcia (Don) White, Becky (Ed) Adair, step-son, Lindsey Johnson, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was a member of Lindenwood Christian Church in Memphis, Tennessee. An Episcopal priest and practicing Psychologist, he used his knowledge and background to run several small consulting businesses and as the basis for several published books on consumer research and marketing. He also served as a Chaplain in the U.S. Navy on both active and reserve duty. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28 at noon with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to The Villages at Germantown Benevolence Fund at 7820 Walking Horse Circle, Germantown, TN 38138.
