Richard M. Hayeslip's Obituary
Richard Martin Hayeslip, 77, passed away on February 11, 2021 from complications of COVID-19 at Baptist East Hospital, Memphis, TN.
Richard was a charismatic person that was full of personality. Richard never meet a stranger and enjoyed life. Richard loved to go fishing with his friends and family or if need be, all by himself. He loved to spend time with his family at the farm shooting guns, building fires, eating dinner and his favorite dessert. He loved spending time with the grandkids goofing off at the farm or with his best friends Harry and Susan Richardson playing around at their home in Southern Alabama.
Richard was born in Memphis, TN on March 8th, 1943. He graduated from Messick High School in Memphis and retired from the Commercial Appeal newspaper in 1998.
Richard survived his wife Vivian Elaine Hayeslip who passed away from leukemia on October 20th, 2019.
Richard is survived and greatly missed by his daughter Shelly Bookwalter and husband Curtis of Olive Branch, MS, son Ricky Hayeslip and wife Shelley of Saulsberry, TN, three grandchildren, Paige, Buck and Cross and his best friend Harry Richardson.
