Richard B. Cooper's Obituary
Richard B. Cooper, 84, passed away August 13, 2015. He grew up in Memphis, TN and went to Tech High and Memphis State College. He joined the Air Force; flew T-6’s, T-33’s and F-86’s. He then flew for TWA for 31 years. While at TWA he flew the Constellation, Martin, Jet Star, 727’s, L1011’s and 747’s. Preceded in death are his Mother, Ruby Cooper Stewart and his sister Barbara Cooper Aster of Memphis, TN. He leaves behind his wife, Mary J. (Walker) Cooper, his children Richard B. Cooper, Jr., Kent W. Cooper; Kim E. (Cooper) Brimer. His Grandchildren Benjamin Brimer, Paul Cooper, Christina (Cooper) Christopher, Jenna Cooper and Nami Cooper. His Great Granddaughter, Emily Cooper Christopher. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, October 24, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. His graveside service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38119. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”
