Richard "Steve" Brock Sr.'s Obituary
Richard “Steve” Brock Sr., 74, of Atoka, TN, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024.
Steve was a retired meat cutter from Kroger. His passion was golf but he had a love for fishing and cooking. His Sunday family meals were a cherished tradition, and he was always delighted in preparing wonderful dishes to share for all the holidays and birthdays. Steve found solace sitting outside in his swing, listening to music.
He is survived by his wife, Linda W. Brock, one daughter, Leslie Arp (Matt), one son, Steven Brock (Abbie)
His siblings, Joe Brock (Alice), Monette Brock, and Jackie Clements (Jim)
Five Grandchildren, Joshua Brock, Jaxon Brock, Carleigh Ella Brock, Allysen-Belle Arp and Matthew Arp Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bettye Brock and John Brock, and his sister, Sandy Caye Brock.
The visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family request memorial donations in Mr. Brock’s honor can be made to send to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Memphis Heart Association.
