CAPT Crawford was my skipper while I was in the Memphis Coast Guard reserve unit. He was one of the best: knowledgeable, fair, and respected by his shipmates. I had the pleasure of running into him again in early 80s while he was assigned to CGHQ. He was a fine gentleman.
I never met Mr. Crawford, but I had the great opportunity to work with his son for more than a decade at Luxottica.Since sons tend to emulate their fathers, Mr. Crawford was obviously an incredible man because his son is.Tim and the whole Crawford family are in our prayers.

I worked with Mr. Crawford as a clerk at J.B Cobb’s law firm in Memphis and served under him in the United States Coast Guard in Memphis in the 1960’s. He was a good man and will be missed.
