Rena Densford's Obituary
Rena Mae Densford, 88, passed away July 10, 2012. She was born July 26, 1923 in Blytheville, AR to Emma Wooldridge and L.C. Hardin. She was a very active member of Oak Forest Church of God until diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. However, even with her advanced Alzheimer’s, she never lost her musical talents, and continued expertly playing the organ for her friends and fellow residents at Franklin Park Retirement Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Raymon Densford and son, Milton Densford. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Goodwin (Wiley); five grandchildren, Marcia Densford, Denise Reilly, Sharon Bloodgood, Tim Goodwin, and Todd Goodwin; and sixteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by funeral services at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 14 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
