Rebecca Ramsay Durrell Storm's Obituary
Rebecca Ramsay Durrell Storm went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2009 after bravely fighting ALS.She was born on October 11, 1940 in Memphis, Tennessee. She attended Hutchison School, The University of Alabama and the University of Memphis.She was employed in the medical field for many years and retired this April.Becky loved painting, gardening, cooking and reading. But most precious to her was the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons; John Michael Durrell and Harley Davis Storm, her daughter Holly Storm-Burge and husband Eric, four grandchildren, Gabriel and Emma Storm-Burge and Jordan and Jade Shepard, her sister, Susan Belcher Russell and husband Don and her cousin Patte Corbett Doty and husband Ross.Private services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the ALS Association or the MDA.
