Rebecca Sue Eubanks Hamric Arthur's Obituary
Rebecca Sue Eubanks Hamric Arthur, 42, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on April 12, 2026. Born on March 8, 1984, in Memphis, Tennessee, Rebecca was the cherished first child of Jim and Debbie Eubanks and a beloved presence in the lives of all who knew her. She was greatly loved by her sister, Amy, and her brother, Daniel.
Rebecca graduated from the University of Memphis with honors in Psychology. She loved her career as an Activities Coordinator at the Kirby Pines Senior Living home and brought joy to all there. Known for her warmth, concern, and creativity, she was deeply loved by those she worked with and served, and she loved them. She was a born "people-person." However, Rebecca's most treasured roles were as a devoted mother to her precious son, Will, and as a gentle, loving wife to her adoring husband, Paul.
Rebecca was a certified yoga teacher who found contentment in that practice. She loved following workout videos and had an enduring appreciation for books, clothes, shoes, and purses. Her artistic spirit extended into her faith as well; as a member of the Disciples of Christ denomination, Rebecca sought fresh and meaningful ways to express her spiritual life.
Rebecca's family was the heart of her world. She is survived by her husband, Paul; her ten-year-old son Will; and their two faithful dog companions-- Fritz the dachshund and Pig the mixed breed. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Tom and Sue Eubanks, and Prentice and Ruth Brower. The family takes comfort in knowing that Rebecca is now reunited with them, especially with her loving grandmother, Sue, in the presence of the Lord.
Rebecca's gentle nature, beauty, and love touched everyone around her. Her passing leaves hearts broken but filled with gratitude for having known such a remarkable soul. As those who loved her reflect on her life, they remember a beautiful daughter, a devoted mother, a loving wife, a faithful sister, an artistic spirit, and a beacon of kindness.
May Rebecca's memory bring solace to all who mourn her loss. She will be forever loved and missed by those whose lives she graced. Rest peacefully in God's embrace, dear Becса, you will always be our beloved first child. We are so proud of you and the lovely woman that you became! You were too gentle for this world, my daughter. Wait for us, dear one; it will not be long.
The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery in the Fireside Chapel, Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38119 (901) 767-8930.
