Randell Bray Morris, passed away on August 22, 2025. He was born on May 29,1954 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Marion and Annie Morris. He was a graduate of Overton High School in 1972 and graduated from Memphis State in 1977. Read Obituary
I shot this photo of Randy in the late 1980's for an album cover, but it was never used. I thought folks might like to see it.
I met Randy in 1983 through a mutual friend. He and I shared a birthday, exactly ten years apart. We were roommates for a year or so, and I ran sound for him when he would perform as a Contemporary Christian musician. He was a fine man, and a good friend. I just learned about his passing and am deeply saddened by it.
I have known Randy since 1979.
I remember coming to his house in the early 80's to watch Charles Stanley and pray with he and Steve. I remember Steve Hamilton and Randy inviting me to move in with them in the early 80's and the fun times. Rest in peace my brother. Homecoming has begun.
