Randall P. Seymour's Obituary
Randy Seymour 67, of DeFuniak Springs, FL passed away on October 11, 2013 in Panama City, Florida.Randy was born January 30, 1946 in Crockett, Texas to Thad and Ruth Seymour who both preceded him in death. Along with his parent’s, Randy was preceded in death by his nephew Jeff Seymour.Randy attended Kingsbury High School in Memphis, TN and collegiately attended the University of Tennessee. Randy entered the Logistics Industry and was a member of Senior Management for multiple transportation companies over a career that spanned 40 plus years.Randy was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed all aspects of hunting, fishing, woodwork, and the creation of stained glass artwork. Randy was also a musician who enjoyed playing the banjo and the dulcimer.All aspects of his life were based upon friendship and community involvement which made him an asset to all that he came in contact with.Randy is survived by his brother, Gene (Libby) Seymour of Bristol, VA; Son Don (Angie) Seymour of Dublin, GA; Daughter Stephanie (Billy) Williams of Atoka, TN. Granddaughters Kristen Howard, Haley Seymour, Ashley Seymour, Alyssa Williams, and Addison Williams. He is also survived by his niece Beth (Chris) Etheredge and Grand Nephew Jeffrey Etheredge. Additionally Randy was survived by his special friend Ellie Parrish and countless friends both in Memphis and Defuniak Springs.Funeral Services are scheduled for October 26, 2013 at Memorial Park Funeral Home in the Riverside Chapel in Memphis, TN.
