I had the pleasure of working with and knowing Randy for over 30 years working in the North Area at ZME together for the first 12 or so years before he went on to work in TMU and then a supervisor. He was always cheerful and smiling and a great person to know. He brightened the day and was a very caring father who talked about his family and Ole Miss pretty much every day I knew him. I am very sad for his family and an sending them loving and healing thoughts during this time of loss. He was a good man and will be greatly missed.

I would like to share my memory of Randy! He is a fantastic friend of Richie, my deceased Husband and myself!! We have gone on trips together and he has stayed at our house in Florida together and we used to play trivia together and many other special times together!! I worked in personnel department and Richie and Randy both worked as air traffic controllers in the TMU department!! I first want to say that Randy is a fantastic friend and Man and father and Pop Pop.!! He was always so kind and generous!! I will miss him so very much! Praying for comfort and peace for Ashley and Courtney and their families! Such a sweet and special family!!

My heart is Heavy. I know your Spirit is everywhere right now, and you are at peace.

My earliest favorite memory of you is right after you got your haircut and your facial hair trimmed, I came out of the room and looked at you. You had the biggest smile on your face. You looked so happy! I told you you looked so handsome.

You my Big Brother, while we were growing up, you were my protector. Always making sure that I was protected. You took care of me and protected me. Even in Storms > You and I would go to the Basement during Tornado warnings, you always knew where we were to sit, what window was to be opened, the protection with blankets and pillows....AND of course YOUR TRANSISTOR RADIO you kept on during the storm. I really thought you would have been a meteorologist..

I enjoyed watching NewSpring Church with you in recent months. Actually, we watched a lot of shows together, we pretty much liked the same thing. I will treasure those memories forever.

A funny moment when we were younger, we lived on a farm. We climbed up on the freight train and sang "Pride Mary" - we thought we could really sing, but neither one of could carry a tune!

When I was in High School, you took me every morning to the little store and got me a Dr Pepper, Honey Bun, and you got a coke. That was a normal morning ritual.

I have so many fond memories with you, thank you for being my brother and giving me memories with you.

I only got a few recent weeks with you, but I am so very Thankful I had that opportunity!

I love you to the moon and past the stars Randy - Soar High, and know that you are loved by all!

My heart is heavy. I do know you are in a better place and your spirit is surrounding the girls and grandkids, I find my comfort in knowing that.

I keep getting this recent memory image in my head. It was after my meeting, you just got your hair cut, and facial hair was all groomed.(arranged by Courtney) I walked out of the room after my meeting, you were sitting in your recliner. You had the BIGGEST smile and the most happiest eyes I have seen!!!

I will never forget that image. It will always be the image in my head, when I think of you.

NewSpring Church, I will have a few fond memories on the services you and I were able to watch together. How we both enjoyed Pastor Mark's message. .

You are truly a GENTLE and SPIRITUAL soul. -

On top of the Freight Train as kids, when we lived on a farm, you and I singing our lungs out the song "Pride Mary" (neither one of us could carry a tune back then)

Thought a lot about you on this past Friday night when the area around , Memphis, Hernando, Southaven, Oliver Branch, Collierville were all under a Tornado warning, how you would take me down to basement, open the window (only one), had your transistor radio listening to the weather man, waiting for it to pass, and of course Ressa is on the porch the whole time, you would try to get her to go too, but she wanted to be on porch. I really thought you would grow up to be a meteorologist..

You always took care of me, protected me, cared and nurtured me when we were little. -

I have so many GREAT memories with you, OLD and NEW., I could write a book. You know my heart and you also know how deeply you are loved by all.
