Ralph Glen Strange's Obituary
Ralph Glen Strange, 73, passed away at St. Francis hospital on January 18th, 2013. He was born in Memphis, TN on April 11th, 1939. His parents were John G. Strange and Mary Glen Brown Strange. He is survived by his sister, Marylyn Strange Manley and his children Beth Strange Taylor (Jeff), John W. Strange (Amy), and Stephen C. Strange. He is also survived by his former wife and good friend Judy Strange.Ralph was very proud of his seven grandchildren: Chandler and Cole Taylor of The Colony, TX, Sara and Michael Strange of Collierville, TN, and Kendall, Reagan, and Brock Strange of Olive Branch, MS. Ralph attended Southside High School and graduated from Messick High School in 1957.The friends he made in high school became his friends for life. He had a love for dancing and shared that with his many friends at the local Bop Clubs. His most loved past time though was baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals. An interest he shared with his children. One of his fondest most recent memories was the Father’s Day trip he took with his three children to Cooperstown, NY to the Baseball Hall of Fame. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday evening at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 12 Noon in Memorial Park Cemetery.
