Ralph Walton Lipsey Jr.'s Obituary
Ralph Walton Lipsey, born on March 25, 1939, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Ralph was a man of deep faith who loved the Lord and lived his life with kindness, laughter, and adventure. He was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Sally Lipsey, and a proud father to his sons: Danny Lipsey (married to Bridgett Lipsey), Joe Lipsey (married to Kelly Lipsey), and Dr. Devin Ray, (married to Rhonda Ray), Shawn Ray. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Johnny Lipsey. Through marriage, Ralph lovingly adopted Shawn Ray and Devin Ray as his own, embracing them fully into his heart and family.
A proud veteran, Ralph served his country with honor in the United States Air Force. Outside of his service, he found joy in the open road, riding motorcycles, and sharing countless stories. He never met a stranger and was deeply loyal to his friends and the people he worked with, earning the love and respect of all who knew him.
Ralph adored his daughters-in-law, treating them as his own, and his grandchildren brought him immense joy. His love for his family was unwavering, and his legacy of faith, love, and loyalty will live on in their hearts forever.
Services for Ralph will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 10:00am in the Riverside Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation an hour prior to the service starting at 9:00am. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
