R.L. Humphrey passed away on August 26, 2009.He was born on June 19, 1927 in Bude, Mississippi. Mr. Humphrey was a veteran of WW II and was retired from General Electric after 35 years as Regional/National Credit Manager.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Margie Humphrey; sons, Curtis, Jimmy, and Gary Humphrey; brother, L.C. Humphrey (Joy Lee); daughter-in-law, Cathy Humphrey; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, August 29, 2009 with the funeral service at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, August 29, 2009, all being held at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery.
