Mr. Quincy Lee Turner was very special to me and my husband. He was a big brother from another mother who was witty, fun loving, a doting father to Tiffany and beloved husband to my sweet pea Georgia May. Thankful to have spent time with him last year in Maryland at the Capital Jazz Fest. He loved some good jazz music. He and Georgia traveled to Colorado in the 90's to attend the Winter Park Jazz Festival with me and my brother. I'll never forget the sparkle in his eye and smile on his face as he enjoyed listening to jazz sitting atop the mountain 10,100 feet above sea level.
Kirk fondly remembers Quincy sharing life lessons, wisdom and knowledge from the first day they met in New Orleans when the four of us attended the 2003 Essence Festival. What a time we had! Quincy again blessed Kirk with insightful wisdom and brotherly advice in Memphis at our son's house July 4, 2022.
QT was truly one-of-a-kind. So grateful the Lord saw fit to allow me to be in Memphis visiting Georgia when he got his wings. His memory is forever burned in our hearts. Rest easy dear brother!
Prayers and love,
Kristi and Kirk Gray
