Priscilla "Pat" Bowling's Obituary
Priscilla ‘Pat’ Bowling, 76, went home to the Lord on October 23, 2021. She is survived by her supportive daughter, Lisa Harper and Johnny of Bartlett, TN and her sweet sister, Lee McDaniel of Memphis, TN.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Eldren. She loved to share that they had 46 wonderful years of marriage after only knowing each other 12 days. Pat was an associate member of Macon Road Baptist Church and liked watching their televised services. She was fiercely independent and will be remembered for saying she was blessed and appreciated the simple things in life. During Pat’s final years, she enjoyed greeting new residents at her assisted living home and encouraging them to attend the onsite Sunday worship service. She was always eager to share the love of God with anyone. Pat also looked forward to many of their activities – especially the penny auction.
The family would like to thank the staff of Shelby Gardens Place and Hospice of Hope for the care they provided during her final years. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Pat’s memory to your church or favorite charity.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:30 p.m. all in the Fireside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
