Dr. Prentice Grady Fulton Jr.'s Obituary
Dr. Prentice Grady Fulton Jr., 92, passed away on December 27, 2022 at his home in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Fulton was born on September 18, 1930 in Memphis, Tennessee and was raised there. After graduating medical school, Dr. Fulton had a decades long career with TVA in their medical department while raising his family in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He always said his heart belonged to Memphis, and he moved back to his hometown in the later years of his life.
Dr. Fulton was preceded in death by his father, Prentice Fulton, mother, Mary Fulton, and brother, Charles Fulton. Dr. Fulton is survived by his daughter and son in law, Mariah and Shawn Smith, son and daughter in law, Dr. Stephen Fulton and Dr. Amber Evans, and granddaughters Janie Smith and Ellie Fulton
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 10:00am in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Dr. Fulton's name to the church he was raised in, Saint Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, 700 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tn, 38105.
The family of Dr. Fulton would like to thank Miss Cindy, Miss Annie, Miss Gloria, and Miss Alexis of Loving Hearts And Plenty Of Care Home Health Care Company as well as Methodist Healthcare Alliance Hospice for taking such wonderful care of Dr. Fulton in his final days.
