My deepest condolences to my cousins, family, and the friends of my Uncle Pete. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel through France with him and Judy years ago. He was so warm and genuine, fun and giving, and although I did not know him well prior to this trip, he made me feel like family right away. My Uncle Pete impressed upon me the need to be open to exploration and to embrace the love and laughter of life. His relationship with my Aunt Judy seemed emblematic of real, true love. I was inspired by their love. I immediately aspired to know life the way they did. Uncle Pete was generous with me without obligation, and I can see in my mom that he was a great brother, ally, comfort, and friend–who will be sorely missed and forever cherished. Until we meet again…
