I remember when I first met Penny and his Mommy at East Tennessee Children’s hospital. Penny was in the room next door to my daughter, Shailynn. He was helping his mom pass out bubbles to everyone. He was not shy at all. Shailynn and Penny became chemo buddies riding bikes or making us mothers push them around in the hallway making the best out of long days at clinic. I’m so heartbroken for all who loved this sweet playful adorable little boy. My deepest condolences to his sweet family and all his friends. He will never be forgotten. Hugs and prayers.
