Peggy McDonald's Obituary
Peggy Morgan McDonald, 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 8th, 2014 at The Village of Germantown. She is survived by her husband, John Cundiff McDonald, Sr., her three children, John Cundiff McDonald, Jr. (Madeline), Nancy McDonald Kornegay (Gary), and Mary Margaret McDonald, her sisters, Clara Mae Francis and Virginia Ditto, and her grandchildren, Cassie McDonald, Kellie McDonald, John Kornegay, and Kate Kornegay. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas Grady Morgan and Lois Lindsey Morgan and her sister, Dorothy Gunter. Peggy graduated from Central High School in 1950. She was a long time active member of Asbury United Methodist Church and was active in missions and volunteer work with MIFA and A.I.M.S. as well as an active member of the Memphis Emmaus Community. Peggy held a long and distinguished career in the Mortgage Loan Division at First Tennessee Bank. Visitation is Tuesday, March 11th, 2014 from 5-7 at Memorial Park. Services will be held Wednesday, March 12th, 2014 at 10 am at Memorial Park, with interment immediately following. Memorial Contributions may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church or the Mid-South Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.Location: Garden of Serenity Location: Red
