Peggy Deanne Bush's Obituary
Peggy Deanne Bush was born April 19, 1969. She passed surrounded by family on October the 9th, 2024. She is preceded in death by her Father Don W. Cockroft and her Mother Peggy M. Cockroft. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Brian Robert Bush. She is also survived by her children, her daughter, Haily Deanne Bush, and her son, Brian Alexander Bush. Survived as well by her older sister, Debra Kay Hardin (Kevin Hardin), and her older brother, Don W. Cockroft Jr (Jody Cockroft).
She was a loving mother, wife, and sister. Born and raised in Memphis, TN, where she went on to raise her own family. Deanne went to school in Memphis at Hutchinson School for girls and went on to study at the University of Mississippi. She dearly loved her numerous nephews and nieces. Whether she was known as Dee, Aunt Dee, DeeDee, or Mom she always kept an open door in her home for family and friends. Deanne would welcome anyone into her home, with open arms, if anyone she knew or cared about needed safe haven or a place to stay. She loved to travel, whether it was for family trips to Naples, Florida or spending a week at her condo in Charleston, South Carolina. Deanne loved animals and animals loved her. She especially loved her dogs, Lily and Bear. She was an incredible painter, and an even better cook. Cooking her famous lasagna would turn into an event that would bring the whole family together. Deanne was a passionate woman, it was shown in her painting, in the love and care that she raised her family with, and in the way she cheered on her Ole Miss Rebels. Anyone who knew Deanne was lucky and blessed to have met her.
