Pauline Ridgway McBride's Obituary
Pauline Ridgway McBride entered rest in the arms of her Savior on Wednesday, April 18th, 2012. Beloved wife of Frank Wilson McBride for 66 years, and devoted mother of Carol and Marilyn, Pauline fulfilled 90 faithful years in service to her Lord and family before joining her husband in Paradise. Pauline and Frank married December 2nd, 1942, and reared two beautiful daughters in Memphis, TN. Pauline adored her husband and he adored her. She worked for more than 40 years as the executive secretary for Dr J. Pervis Milnor, Jr, putting God’s gift of accounting and mathematical skills to excellent and devoted employment. Pauline was an active member in Open Door Bible Church for over 60 years, serving in joy as a prayer warrior and example of faithfulness. Her life is a legacy to the glory she gave to God. Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Frank W., and survived by daughters Carol Ann McBride Marini of Spoleto, Italy; Marilyn McBride Danielson (Ron) of Apple Valley, Minnesota; grandchildren Marilyn Pretolani, Joe Marini, R. Frank Danielson, William Danielson, and Deryn “Dee Dee” Danielson Warner. Pauline’s joy was multiplied unto her by the births of her great-grandchildren, Gilda and Mila Pretolani and Rachel and Sara Danielson. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family ask that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Open Door Bible Church, 1792 N.
