Pauline Moore Hinds' Obituary
Pauline “Polly” Moore Hinds joined our Lord on December 31, 2010. Born August 25, l922, in Winston County, MS, to the late Coy and Lattie Moore. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who dedicated her life to serving God and her family. She was a member of Bartlett Baptist Church for over 50 years. She treasured her friends in the Esther class and enjoyed volunteering in the nursery. She faithfully studied God’s word and was a prayer warrior. She served in leadership with Bible Study Fellowship. In recent years, she resided in Martin, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard W. Hinds, and by her brother, Marion Moore. She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Ron) Austin, Dr. Michael (Nancy) Hinds, and Theresa (Leon) Helton; her grandchildren, Ashley (Pryce) Black, Kristen (Jeff) Fowler, Dr. Marianne (Brian) Wanamaker, Dr. Elizabeth Hinds, and Rebecca Hinds; and seven great-grandchildren. She is survived by sisters, Evelyn (Conner) Hanna and Thelma Douglas; brothers, Duane and Leroy Moore; sister-in-law, June Hinds; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Monday at 12:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Poplar, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to Bartlett Baptist Church, Life Choices of Memphis, Baptist Children’s Home in Bartlett, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
