Pauline Raines Ball's Obituary
PAULINE RAINES BALL, 94, died January 14, 2009 at Applingwood Health Care Center. Mrs. Ball was a member of Union Avenue Baptist Church. She was the bookkeeper for Kirby Ball Radio and Television. She was a member of the Germantown Art League. She is best known for her pastel work “God’s Waiting Room” featuring elderly patients. Mrs. Ball was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Thomas Kirby Ball. She is survived by her daughter, Marianne (J. David) Tucker of Germantown; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne Obrochta and Robert Carey Tucker; three great-grandchildren: Lilian Rose Obrochta, Payton Anne Obrochta, and Luke Gabriel Tucker, and one niece, Beverly Little; two nephews, Billy Adair and Harold Baker.Services will be held Saturday, January 17th at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home in the Riverside Chapel.A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.Memorials may be made to Germantown United Methodist Church, Union Avenue Baptist Church or charity of donors choice.Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery (901)767-8930 www.memorialparkonline.com
