Paul K. Winstead's Obituary
Paul Keith Winstead passed away on October 13, 2017 at the age of 69. He was born in Philadelphia, MS, and is survived by his father James Paul Winstead of Olive Branch, MS. His loving mother, Mattie Beatrice Winstead passed away last year. Paul is survived by his wife of almost fifty years, Shelia Ann (Mansel) Winstead, his two daughters, Angela Denise Schrimsher (husband Vern) and Shelley Rene’ McGregory; four grandchildren, Jeremy Paul Schrimsher (wife Bethany), Jacob Aaron Schrimsher, Jenna Nicol Schrimsher, and Isabella Gabrielle McGregory all of Southaven, MS.; his brother, James W. Winstead of Springfield, MO.; two sisters, Judy Diane Harbin of Germantown, TN, and Patricia Neal Mahoney of Olive Branch, MS. He was also blessed with many close friends and much extended family. Paul attend Southside High School in Memphis and Northwest Community College in Senatobia. He was the Chief Operating Officer for D & W Plating Co., Inc., where he worked for almost fifty years with his closest friend, James W. Walker and Jimmy’s sister, Janiece Kennon, who both passed away within the last year. Paul had a special place in his heart for Jimmy’s children, Michael, Chris, and Teresa. Paul was a member of the Southaven Church of Christ. His services include visitation at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, with his funeral at 1:00p.m. on Monday, October 16, ALSO AT Memorial Park.
