I’m at a loss right now… you were diagnosed with brain cancer only a few weeks ago and you are already gone… I didn’t even get to say goodbye.
I’m glad I got to know you as much as I did. I always enjoyed being around you… your little remarks that you expected no one to hear often made my days and your presence always created such a sense of calmness. Most of all, I always loved your smile… it made me smile.
I’m heartbroken we didn’t have more time together but I know I have to be grateful for the time I did have with you. I love you so much and I hope that you are in a better place. We will move forward in life with you in our hearts and we will make you proud, I promise.
Rest in peace, Papaw. You will be missed.
We Had a Wonderful GrandfatherWe had a wonderful grandfather, One who never really grew old; His smile was made of sunshine, And his heart was solid gold; His eyes were as bright as shining stars, And in his cheeks fair roses you see. We had a wonderful grandfather, And that’s the way it will always be. But take heed, because He’s still keeping an eye on all of us, So let’s make sure He will like what he sees.
Marianne, Mom, Paula and I extend our sympathy. Paul is one of Dad’s greatest best friends. If there’s a tennis court up there, we know where they are right now! God Bless. Chuck Pearcy, Jr
My sincerest condolences for your loss. Please know that when times like these arise, God is there to comfort you through prayer and his word the Bible (Psalm 147:3).
