Paul William Mullennix's Obituary
Paul William Mullennix, 90, of Memphis, Tennessee formerly of Ardmore, Oklahoma passed away Friday, September 14, 2012, at Quince Nursing & Rehab-Memphis. He was born March 9, 1922 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Henry and Dora Henson Mullennix. Mr. Mullennix was a member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church-Memphis and formerly a member of First Baptist Church-Ardmore, Oklahoma for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a photographer, a G.M. parts supervisor in Ardmore and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma most of his professional career. Mr. Mullennix was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Louise Lister Mullennix; wife, Edith Smith Mullennix; sisters, Eva Williams and Ethel Finn; brother, Pleas Mullinnex; and is survived by his daughter, Martha Sue Sellars and Mary Lynn Myers; son, Mike Mullennix; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:30 pm, Tuesday, September 18, 2012, both at Memorial Park Funeral Home-Memphis. The interment will be private for the family only at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery-Memphis.
