Paul Nowlin Grubb's Obituary
Dr. Reverend Paul Nowlin Grubb had been a minister in the United Methodist Church and the Assemblies of God; served as senior pastor for 55 years at Central Assembly of God and Faith Temple until he retired in 2002.He was an Alumni of Henry College, Emory University, Candler School of Theology and Milton University. Dr. Grubb was a professor in the New Testament Theology and Evangelism Department at Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. He founded a private day school and bible college; worked as editor for a church periodical and authored many books during his travel through 55 nations in missionary evangelism.Dr. Grubb was preceded in death by his wife and lifelong partner in ministry; Reverend Lura Johnson Grubb, his brother Frank Grubb and a sister Mabel Herndon.He is survived by his brother, Marvin Grubb of Welch, WV; a son, Reverend Tom Grubb and his wife Rita of Conover, NC; a grandson, Christopher T. Grubb, M.D. and wife Margaret, two grandchildren; Thomas and Anna-Katherine.
