i am blessed, to have shared and knowing Patty as a co-worker, at the phone company, but most of all, learning her wisdom and smiles, that she shared with me and everyone, that knew her…she was a blessing to us all and never be forgotten…rest my dear ladyrandy
My deepest condolences to the family. Remember you are not alone. “God is our refuge and strength, a help that is found in times of distress.”(Psalm 46:1) God understands your pain and he cares for you. (Isaiah 41:10 and Revelation 21:4)
I’ve been friends with Patty since 1987 working with her till 1994 with Bellsouth. We’ve stayed in touch since I left Memphis and have gotten together with our other friends a few times a year. I will miss her very much. She loved her family and talked of them a lot. I am praying for the family in this sad time. God bless! Carolyn Goff.
I will miss that dear sweet friends face whom I loved to call Ms. Patty Cake. My sister Linda Stapleton and I loved going to the movies, Orpheum, Memphis Theater, Eating Downtown, Red Hat and Bunco with Patty. Everytime she talked about her family she had a gleam in her eyes. I will miss my friend, Patty Cake, I love you.
Ms. Patty was an elegant lady to know. We were in the Memphis Red Hat Divas and Bunco group together. It was always interesting to listen to the stories of her many travels in the USA and abroad! She loved to go places and do things with the girls. She would always tell us “Don’t forget to include me”. Every Christmas we had her make the delicious Ms. Patty’s Famous Cheesecake. We all loved her, she will be missed. Linda Stapleton
