Patty Roane's Obituary
PATTIE ETHEL ROANE, 88, formerly of Memphis, TN, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 3, 2011 at approximately 11:37 p.m. at the Northern Montana Care Center in Havre, MT. “Memaw”, born May 23, 1922, in Clarkson, MS, was a loving mother, wonderful mother-in-law, sweet grandmother, and friend. While in Memphis, she attended the Hickory Ridge Baptist Church and later Trinity Baptist Church in Cordova. Pattie worked for the Woolfolk Insurance Company in Tunica, MS and retired after working 27 years for Tubelite, Inc. in Memphis, TN in 1997. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and husband. Pattie is survived by her five children, Everette of Sarasota, FL, Delmer (Joann) of Gainesville, FL, Wanda (Hugh) Crowell of Havre, MT, Gene (Mary) of Gainesville, FL, Gail (Cindi) of Collierville, T, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her youngest sister, June Perry and her son, Grant of Munford, TN. Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m., followed by the funeral services at Memorial Park on Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN, this Thursday, February 9. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Central Church Youth Missions or charity of donor’s choice. Memorial Park Funeral Home, “Behind the stone wall”, 901-767-8930.
