Patrick Christian Guinle's Obituary
Patrick Christian Guinle, born in Little Rock, AR on April 19, 1953, passed away August 13, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, David Patrick Guinle and beloved grandparents, Besse Thaxton James and Vernon Franklin James—“Momo” and “Bunga.” Pat is survived by his mother, Frankie James Guinle; sister, Dana Guinle Akin; and brothers, Michael Patrick Guinle and David Brian Guinle. He attended St. Paul Catholic School in Whitehaven, graduated from Bishop Byrne High School, and Southwest Tennessee Community College. Pat served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked for years for Methodist Hospital until he went on disability leave. Wracked by physical misfortune, the family wishes to thank the VA Hospital who took excellent care of him during the last few years of his life. There will be a private family service at 10 a.m., Friday, August 21 at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. The family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
