Patricia "Pat" Wofford's Obituary
PATRICIA LEE WOFFORD, 58, of Memphis, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2010. She was a Senior Systems Analyst for Memphis City School for over 25 years. Pat was a member of Evergreen Presbyterian Church and the Vollintine Evergreen Community Association. She was also the sponsor chairman for Clanjamfrie. Pat is preceded in death by her father Richard Whitney and her brother Doug Whitney. She leaves her sons David Ashley Wofford (Amy), Andrew Wofford (Callie Bugg), her daughter Christina Wofford (Benjamin Weber), her mother Virginia Whitney, one brother Steven Whitney, one sister Judith Clark (Walter), and a sister-in-law Maurine Whitney. She also leaves her grandchildren Ryan Wofford, Drew Sample, Jordan Craig, aunts and uncles Sarah Murray, Robert Murray (Joyce), Joann Brooks, Claire Whitney (June) and her nieces and nephews Scott Clark, Sarah Clark Wasburn, Adam Whitney, and Ryan Whitney and two cousins Jan and Kay Chambers. The family will receive friends from 5-8 on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Evergreen Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 pm on Thursday, September 2, also at Evergreen Presbyterian Church.
