Patricia P. Hackett's Obituary
Patricia P. Hackett, 89, of Memphis passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013. She was a retired computer programmer from Southern College of Optometry, volunteered for MIFA, Wonder Series and the Children’s Museum. Ms. Hackett was also a graduate of De Pauw University where she was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority and was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church where she was active with the Waffle Shop. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joan Sensat in 2001; and is survived by her daughters, Barbara Etheridge (Jeff) of Memphis and Margaret McIlroy (Jeff) of Fenton, Missouri; five grandchildren, Steven Russell, Genna Etheridge, Denis Etheridge, Thomas McIlroy and Tricia McIlroy. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Memorial Park Funeral Home-Memphis. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Calvary Episcopal Church-Memphis with the interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be sent to Calvary Episcopal Church or the charity of donor’s choice.
