Patricia Dixon's Obituary
Patricia Anne Dixon of Germantown, TN died on December 23, 2015 at Methodist Healthcare Hospice. She was born in Quincy, FL on October 28, 1928. She grew up in Jacksonville, FL where she graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. She attended Mary Washington College in Virginia. She moved to Memphis in 1965 with her husband who was with the Federal Aviation Agency. She was a long time member of Colonial Park Methodist Church. She was an avid reader and loved working in her yard, cooking, and attending church activities with her many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Elise Edwards of Jacksonville, FL. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Norman L. Dixon. She was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas A. Dixon. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine D. Moore and Margaret E. Riles, sons, John R. Dixon and Norman L. Dixon, Jr. (Cindy). She is also survived by two grandsons, four granddaughters and eleven great- grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 28 from 12:00-1:00PM at Memorial Park with the service to follow at 1:00. Interment will be held in Southwoods Memorial Park.
