Pamela Sere's Obituary
Pamela Elaine (Phifer) Sere, 65 years of age, from Memphis, TN passed away peacefully on May 14th, 2025.
Pam was born February 9th, 1960, in Memphis, the daughter of James and Margaret Phifer.
Pam married Steve on September 17th, 1982 and was married for 42 years to the love of her life.
After graduating from Baptist Health Sciences, Pam worked as a nurse at Baptist for 42 years where she assisted in countless childbirth deliveries, organized mother and baby events for the community, and managed the childbirth education team.
Pam was very passionate about horses, growing up riding and going to shows. Even when she was no longer active in the horse community, she still enjoyed visiting the Clydesdales and going to the horse races. She also loved the beach and visited frequently. It was like her second home.
Pam’s selfless kindness and compassion was experienced by all that came into contact with her. All that knew Pam, knew she loved her family deeply and was a source of strength for them.
Remaining to cherish Pam’s memory are her husband, Steve, daughter, Lauren (Chris), son, Matthew (Amy), stepson, Jake, brother, Tony (Bonnie), sister, Dana and six grandchildren.
Preceding Pam in death are her parents, James and Margaret Phifer.
A celebration of life will be held on May 21st, 2025 between 4:00pm - 7:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home
Donations in Pam’s memory may be directed to Southern Reins Center for Equine Therapy or Friends of South Walton Sea Turtles.
