Pamela G. Hicks Caraway's Obituary
Pamela G. Hicks Caraway, 70, of Collierville, Tennessee went to be with her Lord on December 11, 2017. Pam was born February 19, 1947 in Marshall, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sara and Bill Hicks.First and foremost, Pam was a Christian who deeply believed in her Lord and Savior. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Pam was an antique dealer and seller of collectables for many years, but she considered her greatest accomplishment her two children, Kelly Caraway Stockel and Kevin Michael Caraway.Pam was a member of CrossRoads United Methodist Church in Collierville, TN anda former member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Germantown, TN, where she served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Sunday school teacher, President of the United Methodist Women, and many other various committees in the church.She leaves behind her high -school sweetheart, love of her life, and husband of 49 years, Mike Caraway; two children, Kelly Caraway Stockel (Phil) and Kevin Caraway (Brooke); four cherished grandchildren, Drew Stockel, Kenzley Caraway, Keelyn Caraway, and Kiley Caraway; two sisters, Becky Hicks Petriskie (Dan) and Debbie Hicks Lammel ; and four nieces and nephews, Scott Petriskie (Mary), Beth Jones (Ben), Matt Lammel (Michelle), and Sara Trammell (Scott).Visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery on Friday, December 15th at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m.Pam will be remembered as a kind, compassionate, and caring person, who loved her family deeply. She leaves a legacy of love and strength that will not be forgotten by her family and friends.
