Paige Sullivan Jobe's Obituary
Paige Sullivan Jobe passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. She was born in Memphis on July 22,1969 and has lived in Memphis most of her life.
Paige graduated from Briarcrest School and the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She majored in Social Work and after college worked for the Tennessee Department of Human Services. She devoted her life to her children, Hallie and Jack. She loved planning the children’s birthday parties and especially attending their soccer and football games. She loved taking pictures of her children and for several years had a photography business specializing in black and white photos of children. She enjoyed spending the summers at their house in Pickwick and going on ski trips to Park City, Utah with her family. Paige was a certified CNA and Phlebotomist and for the past three years had been working in Utah and Montana. She had recently moved back to Memphis and had just started classes with the goal of obtaining her Medical Assistant certification. Paige is survived by her children, Hallie Evans Jobe and Jack Bradford Jobe. She is also survived by her parents, Mary and Charles Cape, and her sister, Evans White (Gary). She leaves behind her uncle, Sam Gary, her niece and nephew, Eleanor and William Cummings, and her cousins John, Douglas and Henry Gayden. Paige was always friendly and happy and will be greatly missed by her family and also by her many friends whom she treasured. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary and Allen Gary, and her uncle, Allen Gary, Jr. Paige often said that she had put her life in God’s hands. Her family is comforted knowing that she will be at peace with God. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Paige’s favorite charity was COMEC (Commission on Missing and Exploited Children). She volunteered for this organization when she was in high school. The address is 616 Adams Avenue # 102 Memphis, TN 38105. A family graveside service, officiated by the Reverend Gerry Peak, will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis.
