Owen Parker Bryant's Obituary
Owen Parker Bryant, 88 passed away August 1, 2018. Owen was a teacher for 28 years, teaching middle school students in Physical Education and History. He was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan, asking everyone he met, “Are you a Cowboy fan?” Owen was very talented in many ways. He loved to sing, was once a ping pong champion, loved to bowl, play tennis, and many other sports. Owen was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Bryant and is survived by his spouse of over 60 years, Elizabeth Morrison Bryant; and 1 daughter, Barbara Lisa (David) Luiken, 3 grandchildren, David Grant (Fernanda) Luiken, Jr, Lindsey Elizabeth (Kyle) Stephens, and Caroline Anne Luiken; 2 great-grandchildren, David Grant Luiken, III and Andrew Kyle Stephens, Jr. There will be a gathering of family and friends beginning at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 11 followed by services at 11:00 am at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
