Orwyn "Wynn" Bellerjeau's Obituary
Orwyn T. “Wynn” Bellerjeau passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025 at Kirby Pines in Germantown, TN. He was 95 years old.
Born December 24, 1929, in Trenton, New Jersey, to Alonzo and Helen Bellerjeau. Wynn’s life was one of accomplishment, dedication, and adventure. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Eloise Bellerjeau and two lost children.
A proud graduate of Lehigh University, Wynn earned his master’s degree in Geology and went on to demonstrate his intellectual gifts as a member of MENSA. He served honorably in the United States Navy, achieving the rank of Lieutenant and became a proud member of the “Order of the Top of the World” when he crossed the Arctic circle in 1957. Wynn later embarked on a successful career with the Paul Revere Insurance Group. He was widely respected by colleagues and clients for his integrity, professionalism, and personable nature.
In retirement Wynn wholeheartedly embraced his zest for life and exploration. He and Eloise traveled extensively, visiting 78 countries across five continents as well as all 50 states and the 10 Canadian provinces, delighting in the people and cultures they encountered along the way.
Wynn will be remembered for his intellectual curiosity and his adventurous spirit. Those who knew him were inspired by his commitment to service, lifelong learning, and living life to the fullest.
