Orville Miller's Obituary
Flag Orville Lavon Miller, 81, passed away January 9, 2012 at his home. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force after more than two decades of service to his country, including Korea and Vietnam. He was also an award-winning speech writer. He is survived by his son, Steve Miller and daughter-in-law, Jannette; daughter, Karen Chisholm and her children, Kirby and Avery Chisholm; and daughter, Lisa Romero and her daughter, Sharon Gordon. He is also survived by his step-children, Shawn, Calvin, Jackie, and Crystal. He was preceded in death by his two wives, Alverlene and Joann; and step-son, Gordon. He was one of nine brothers and sisters. He loved being a father and was one of the best. He later answered the calling of the Lord and went to sing the Gospel with his band the Good News.
