Opal Pearl Walton Martin, 91 passed away May 16, 2016 in Bolivar, TN. Opal was born March 10, 1925, she was the first born of twelve children raised in Bolivar, TN. Opal was a member of First Assembly of God Church on Walnut Grove Road in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis F. Martin; her son, Donald Martin; brothers, James Walton, William Walton and Frank Walton. She is survived by her siblings, Charles Walton, Robert Walton, Joseph Walton, Fred Walton, Ted Walton, Margaret Vance, Thomas Walton, Jane Jones and one grandson, Matthew Grant of Texas. A funeral service will be held at 2:30, Wednesday, May 18 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis. The family will receive friends one hour prior beginning at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
