Olympia Coundourides' Obituary
Olympia N. Coundourides, 88, passed away November 19, 2014 in Medina, OH. She was born March 7, 1926 in New York City, NY to Effie and Nicholas Demoleas. She retired as a teller from First Tennessee Bank. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Coundourides; sons, Stacy Coundourides (Karol) and Nicholas Coundourides (Vanessa); grandchildren, Alyssa (Gabriel), John, Alex, Kyra, and Eli; and great-grandson, Mason. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Coundourides; sister Doula Gaitanaros; and brother, Peter Demoleas. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, November 24 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 25 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be sent to Hospice of Medina County, OH, 5075 Windfall Rd Medina, OH 44256.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
