Olivia Carol Atkeison-Robertson's Obituary
Olivia Carol Atkeison-Robertson age 71 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on August 4, 2023. She was born on June 23, 1952, in Selma, Alabama to Robert Atkeison and Geraldine Alvis Atkeison.
After High School, Olivia continued her education and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social work, from the University of Memphis and later graduated with a master’s degree in counseling, also from the University of Memphis. Mrs. Olivia went on to enjoy and was so proud of her career as a social worker in the healthcare setting, working for St. Peter’s Home for Children, St. Joseph Hospital, Baptist Memorial Hospital, and the Regional Medical Center of Memphis, (MED).
After spending many years together Ms. Olivia and Mr. David Robertson married on December 18, 2019. Together they cherished their time with David’s two children; daughter, Tricia Taylor and son, Troy Robertson; and five grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, Tucker, Tate, and Jackie
Olivia Atkeison-Robertson is preceded in death by her parents, Robert, and Geraldine Atkeison; her grandparents, Carrie Hale, and Richie Atkeison; Callie Gilmer and Joseph Alvis.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Robertson; Children, Tricia Taylor (Terry), and Troy Robertson (Jody); and five grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, Tucker, Tate, and Jackie; her two sisters Helen Medlock (John) and Barbara Atkeison.
A Memorial Service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, August 19, 2023, in the Riverside Chapel at 10:00 a.m. A visitation period will be held one hour prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Family will be having a Private Burial at a later date.
