Olga "Ogie" Catanzaro's Obituary
Atlee Olga “Ogie” Catanzaro, 89, was born Feb. 4, 1925. She passed away Sept. 21, 2014, in Memphis, TN. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Michael Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Catanzaro; her parents, P.A. and Minnie Bradberry; sisters Irma Branum and Jane Thompkins, and brother J.C. Bradberry. She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen (Russell) Fly and Paula (John) Moore; a son, Stephen Catanzaro; a sister, Lou Anders; a brother, Bill Bradberry; grandchildren Brian Smiley, Jason Smiley, Jennifer Brooks, Laura Moore and Rhonda Catanzaro; 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, all special to her. Family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with Rosary at 10 a.m. and funeral mass at 11 a.m. the following day at St. Michael Catholic Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church, 3848 Forrest Ave., Memphis, TN 38122.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
